fn:two serves two distinct purposes.
1) This piece was designed to provide an adjustable-capacity dining table when dining is a primary focus and will accomodate up to eight people. Six can fit comfortably at the middle of the table, and the folding end tables provide space for an additional two.
2) Since many of us aren't consistently feeding the masses and may be more likely to eat in a less traditional location (on the couch/bed/piece of furniture near the TV or computer), the table easily folds into a bench with seating for three. The end tables can remain upright or collapse down to save space.
