Bytheway, is a new travel site from The Washington Post. Their goal is to share the local’s perspective. To achieve this, 50 artists from 50 different cities around the world where hired. 

I was honored to represent the lovely city of Reykjavík with lettering and illustration. My approach was to show a cozy downtown scene with some cats, they basically own the city. Out of their color palette, I selected a combination of complementary colors, cold and warm. Since Iceland is the land of fire and Ice.
