I wanted to show that although the buddha statue is destroyed but Buddhist still faithful in Buddha as there is lotus flower on statue lap to worship the buddha statue, Buddha will still be with us in our heart.

I got inspired by the Thai temple in Ayutthaya, Thailand. As it is broken statue with a nice texture, so I used papermarche than use sand paper to make it smooth.
