Design of Turco book for Bouclard editions, design of custom typefaces for chapter titles and running text. This work tells the incredible journey of Francesco de Martini, great great uncle of Sylvain Chantal, the author. From his runaway from the Bedouin at the end of his adolescence to his life as an Italian spy master in Lebanon, including the delivery of a tank to the Negus of Ethiopia, Hailé Sélassié. This book is at the same time the writing diary of an author who is looking for himself, a family investigation around the Mediterranean and the great secret story of Italian espionage. For the cover I created a custom lettering inspired by Art Deco and the old Fiat logo of 1932, brand of the tank that the hero delivers to Ethiopia. Conception de la couverture du livre Turco aux éditons Bouclard, création d'une typographie pour les titres de chapitres. Cet ouvrage raconte le parcours rocambolesque de Francesco de Martini, arrière grand-oncle de Sylvain Chantal, l'auteur. De sa fugue chez les bédouiins à la fin de l'adolescence jusqu'à sa vie de maître-espion italien au Liban, en passant par la livraison d'un char au Négus d'Éthiopie, Hailé Sélassié. Ce livre est à la fois le journal d'écriture d'un auteur qui se cherche, une enquête familiale autour de la Méditérrannée et la grande histoire secrete de l'espionnage italien. Pour la couverture j'ai créé un lettrage sur mesure inspiré de l'Art Déco et de l'ancien logo Fiat de 1932, marque du char que le héros livre à l'Éthiopie.
