Phoebe the Hen is my main character for my Senior Project at SCAD. Her design isn't final yet. This is just what I came up with in my Concepts class. Below are pages of chicken sketches that I went through before I got a feel for what I wanted Phoebe to look like. "Final" design is at the bottom.  

There are so many that I love on the page below! The 'diva' chickens are my favorite! But Phoebe is mostly goofy so attitdue wasn't needed, thus these designs took a back seat. 

*I don't have access to a scanner at home so I'm sorry that these are dark. I'll update them once I can get to a scanner.* I really like the swan long neck one in the middle, to the right from the page below but Phoebe didn't look like a chicken here and I didn't want any confusion between her being a chicken of swan so I tossed this design to the side. 

The cube looking chicken at the bottom was an unexpected favorite among my firends. Haha. I like that design too but it didn't fit Phoebe's personality so had to be scrapped. 

On the page below I tried to come up with silly and goofy chicken designs. 

This is what I ended up with. I'm happy with how Phoebe is for now but changes will come.
