This week I attempted to do some cinemagraphs using the skills I learnt in class. I experimented with fluids and also human movement to try and make some interesting things.

The one below is my favourite as it was a struggle to get the mirror angle correct but once I did it was fun to change the colours in the mirror to make it look like someone was trapped in the mirror.

This one didn't work as well as the others because I couldn't keep the match stick completely still so there is a bit of movement of the stick that makes it look weird.

The liquid was quite easy as it was almost like looping the water movement.

These are more like gifs than cinemagraphs but I still thought that as concepts they work well

This cinemagraph was a way for me to have two moving things in one frame. The smoke and the Kettle boiling in the background. It just looks like a looped video but I think if I added a human element it would make it much clearer that it was a cinemagraph.
