At London Fashion Week, the designers made all its 5 days pop with fun, colour plays, startling silhouettes and statement styles that screamed ‘impossible’! They kept everyone on their toes throughout the event with designs, each better than the previous.

Before we talk about the trends that they set in motion for the world to follow, let’s make an honourable mention of the highlight of the show – Her Majesty The Queen making an appearance! The show reached its ultimate high when Her Royal Majesty dropped by to watch Richard Quinn’s show and presented him with the inaugural Queen ElizabethⅡAward for British Design.

RICHARD QUINN: “TALK OF THE TOWN”

Her Royal Highness had good reasons to choose the rockstar – ‘Richard Quinn’. The accomplished designer is well known for his creativity & avant-garde designs. His ramp-lit work was covered in floral patterns, powerful silhouettes and printed head-masks which made everyone go ‘WOW”.

His LFW collections were bold and powerful, created with a vision of fearless, forward thinking. Garments were made with a keen focus on innovative fabrics. His unique ability to combine hand-fashioning skills with a polished high fashion sensibility only scored him more beyond the necessary brownies.

DESIGNERS WHO WERE #LIT!

We’d say nearly all the designers surpassed expectations with some out-of-the-world designs. Few collections gave us a “larger-than-life” feel than the rest.
