Concept and tactile design of a portable light
The irritating, unpleasant tactile aspects of the product experience formed the inspiration of the new design and interaction. The product interaction for this design was defined as playful, fluent and freedom of use. The tactile properties that are experimented with are size/weight proportion, structure and flexibility.
The final design is made of a metal core covered with silicon rubber and a layer of neoprene.
