“Live in peace. Spring will come, and the flowers will bloom themselves” (Chinese folk wisdom).

This illustration was inspired by a cactus, presented to me many years ago. My cactus bloomed. It was last year in March. A year earlier, it also bloomed in the spring, but with only a few flowers .. Not as large as this time, when it had a wreath of bright raspberry flowers on its head. It's so amazing! Watch below photos of this handsome man! It’s so in a cup and grows thus.

I decided to capture this event on paper. And combine acrylic & Chinese. Acrylic can show this brightness and color saturation. Gouache is bright, but dry, not deep, the watercolor is too delicate, but acrylic is convinient! And only ink can show the whole essence of thought. And the thought is as follows: “What we nourish is blooming within us - such is the eternal law of nature” (Goethe).

By the way, a month after that fact I participated in a marathon, where I continued to experiment with color. A series of paintings was born, where the simplicity & character of Chinese ink and juiciness, the brightness of the color of acrylic paints are combined. Look at my profile for botanical motifs. Живи, сохраняя покой. Придёт весна, и цветы распустятся сами (китайская народная мудрость).

На эту иллюстрацию меня вдохновил кактус, которого мне подарили много лет назад. Он зацвёл. Годом раньше он тоже цвёл весной, но всего несколькими цветочками.. Не так масштабно, как в этот раз, когда у него был на голове венок из ярких малиновых цветов. Это так удивительно! Смотри ниже фото этого красавца! Он так в чашечке и растёт.

Я решила это событие запечатлеть на бумаге. И соединить акрил и китайскую тушь. Потому что только акрил может передать эту яркость и насыщенность цвета. Гуашь яркая, но сухая, не глубокая, акварель слишком нежная, а вот акрил – самое оно! И только тушь может передать всю суть мысли. А мысль следующая: «В нас расцветает то, что мы питаем — таков вечный закон природы» (Гёте).

Кстати, через месяц после этого я участвовала в марафоне, где продолжила экспериментировать с цветом. Родилась серия картин, где совмещена простота и характер китайской туши и сочность, яркость цвета акриловых красок. Смотри в моём профиле ботанические мотивы. Там есть пять разных цветков.
