I’m a weekend warrior on my bicycle, averaging 30-60 miles on a good weathered weekend. There’s no more thrilling, death-defying, or better workout to me than to ride fast and long distances in & around NYC. So when Never Not Riding, a cycling brand I’ve admired for years, asked if I wanted to collaborate on a mural in NYC, it was a no-brainer.

The custom design of typography was inspired by the speed at which things appear when you’re riding fast, and the words “CHINA TOWN” pay homage to the neighborhood that the brand is based in. Similarly, the repetition of the words reference the iconic “THANK YOU” shopping bags, commonly used in the area.
