Wabi Sabi, The Work of Tadao Ando

Using Design Methodologies, we were made to take an artist and brand an exhibit that would feature him and his work. My choice of artist was Tadao Ando, a well known architect who's work is minimal and raw. His use of cement and nature around him made it easy to name the exhibit, Wabi Sabi.
First, Sketches were made, playing with typography  and layout, we created a logotype and worked with graphic elements which would be applied to various surfaces.
We worked on museum walls, which  would feature the logotype as well as these graphic elements.
Along side it, there were also adverts that were created and applied to an open space.
Narrative literature was created so that one would be able to learn more of the artist while in the exhibit.
And finally, packaging was created with something that could be sold in the museum store. As my artist was an architect, the smart thing to do was use building blocks as a way to better aquaint the customer with architecture.
