During the summer of 2019, I worked as a graphic designer for the Student Activities Office of my college, Drury University. Though I normally created graphics for all student groups on campus, that summer my main focus was on the upcoming fall sorority recruitment. This was a huge project that involved creating all sorts of designs across many different mediums. It was also one of my favorite projects I've ever completed.

I worked with Drury's Panhellenic Council as well as my supervisors to create a design plan that worked with the theme of recruitment. The theme that year was, "Let the stars guide you home." I created a color scheme, compiled a few fonts, and created some design elements that I felt fit the spacey theme. Then I got to work.

I was asked to create t-shirt designs, a 24-page booklet, stickers, and a few digital media items as well. The first t-shirt design I made was for Panhellenic council to wear during the first day of recruitment. The tank-top design was also for Panhellenic council. The last t-shirt design was made for all of the potential new members (PNMs) going through recruitment. The 24-page booklet is 4" by 5.5". Its purpose is to help educate and prepare the PNMs for recruitment and supply some helpful information about each sorority. I worked with lots of different greek women to compile all of the information and photography I needed for the booklet. A copy was given to each PNM on the first day of recruitment. The stickers and digital items were made to help get the word of recruitment out there while enforcing the theme at the same time.
