Baskerville Serif typeface is the bridge between Old font and Modern font is was created by John Baskerville in 1757, with the purpose of moving away from old typefaces such as Caslon to a more modern typeface. The goal of the type specimen book series, was to play on contrast; positive and negative space/ black and white, the concept was inspired by 'alphabet soup'.
