ZESS Braunschweig (DE)

We're happy to announce that HDR won the competition for planning the new Fraunhofer Research Center for Energy Storage and Systems ZESS in Braunschweig. The design will allow the location between the airfield and the motorway to be recultivated and the proposed wooden construction will help to reduce the CO2 emissions during construction.

Congratulations to HDR, it's always a pleasure to work with them and visualize meaningful, sustainable architecture! Hope you like the moody, autumn atmosphere ;)
