I used my skill of Photoshop to manipulate the image of each individual portrayed, as well as my tracing techniques to transfer the image to canvas. Then, using a steady hand and lots of patience, the piece became a delicate paint-by-numbers project that took me about 72 hours in total. This is a personal art project for my living space that gives insight to my personality through my art subject. I chose to keep the images black and white to give the paintings a sublte feel, I didn't necessarily want them to overpower a room but to have a reactive beauty once they were noticed.
