It makes me so unspeakably sad what has happened and is still happening to the millions of animals in Australia.😭 The koalas, which already had far too little room to live, are not only losing their home, no, some of them have to leave their young behind in order to survive themselves😢 

In Australia the population was encouraged to knit and sew mittens and socks to care for the many burnt paws. 

We can help by sending a cash donation to an organisation that is well connected and can help locally. WWF Australia writes that you should go to the WWF site in your country and there you can donate directly to help Australia.
