To create a piece of thought provoking work, expressing an emotion/mood. Think about the use of creative typography as well as environmental design and motion graphics.
Outcome
I produced a photography project and an editorial which creates a mood reflected by the poem. Using the poem ‘Trees’ by Joyce Kilmer I created an editorial piece which focused on photography. The poem talks about the sheer beauty of nature and I juxtoposed this with photos of fungas and insects which some people would say are what prevents nature from being ‘sheer beauty’. I visited Sherwood forest to take the majority of the photos and would like to integrate it more within my illustrations.
