Ramayana Storyboard (Shot by Shot)

RAMA:
Jambavan?
JAMBAVAN:
Lakshmana has a chance, but we must be quick.
RAMA:
Tell us, wise one--what can we do?
Only say it, and it will be done.
JAMBAVAN:
There is only one herb which can save him now.
But it grows far away, deep in the Himalayas.
RAMA: But who will travel so far, so quickly?
JAMBAVAN: Who else? Only Hanuman.
HANUMAN:
The sky still rages from the power of Indrajit’s astra.
HANUMAN:
But there’s nothing for it. I must go now,
while Lakshmana still breathes.
JAMBAVAN:
You’ll have to fly faster than ever before, Son of the Wind.
Lakshmana’s life ebbs away every second.
RAMA:
Take care, old friend.
If you can’t do it, then it can’t be done.
HANUMAN:
Never fear, my lord. I won’t fail Lakshmana.
RAMA:
I have no doubt. Godspeed, Hanuman.
HANUMAN:
I’ll be back before you even realize I was gone.
JAMBAVAN: If he’s not back by dawn, all hope is lost.
RAMA: Then we must pray.
RAMA:
No one can match Hanuman’s speed.
But finding one herb in a jungle? I don’t know. . .
JAMBAVAN [VO]:
You must travel across the ocean,
far to the north, high in the mountains.
JAMBAVAN [VO]:
Nestled in the highest peaks
you will find a green valley.
JAMBAVAN [VO]:
There, you will find a single, smaller peak.
That’s where you’ll find the healing herb.
HANUMAN [VO]:
And how will I recognize it when I find it?
JAMBAVAN [VO]:
Oh, you’ll know it when you see it.
JAMBAVAN [VO]: It stands out.
JAMBAVAN [VO]:
It’s the most obvious thing in the world.
JAMBAVAN [VO]:
A unique, miraculous herb, glowing like a beacon. . .
JAMBAVAN [VO]:
How many could there be?
