Purpose and Design:
This motion graphic project is not intended for copyright and is entirely school work. The purpose of this project is to create a "student example" trailer to show off the NYFF's accomplishments. I wanted to create a design which was sort of a painterly expression yet recognizable full of familiar New York City icons such as the Statue of Liberty and Empire State building. Colors and paint would bleed together to create textures and information. My perspective was to show the New York Film Festival (New York City in general) was open to all forms of life, art and culture that bleeds together.
