For this XXL magazine cover project I first created an illustration of the famous rapper, Juice Wrld. I did this illustration in my typical illustrative style while creating a melting effect down the rapper’s face. This type of stylized work is a perfect creative representation of the rapper’s personal style. For the color choices of my illustration I chose a red for the rapper’s hoodie that matched the XXL logo. For the background I chose a simple purple to compliment the red. After I was finished creating the illustration, I added XXL branding and designed a magazine cover featuring the artist.
