Chapel Project
The design is based on the idea of inclusivity. This idea is appropriate because same-sex couples are excluded for their differences, and the chapel is a place that welcomes and embraces all couples despite their sexual orientation, religion, race, ect. It also relates to the site/building because the chapel represents a home away from home because everyone is, and will always be accepted in this chapel. This relates back to the users of the chapel wanting to get married in a place where they finally feel accepted. It relates back to the function because a wedding unifies the individuals reguardless of their different backgrounds and the chapel will be a safe place for minorities to feel secure and accepted.
