Millenia Walk: A Reunion to Remember 2017
Chinese New Year has always been one of the integral festive campaigns of any shopping mall. Instead of the typical fake flower decor and traditional Chinese motifs, we wanted to create an experience through multiple visual and interactive touch points that build up the excitement of Chinese New Year interwoven with a meaningful narrative of what the festival truly means to us.
For Millenia Walk, Chinese New Year is a Reunion to Remember, where you gather, celebrate and overeat with your family and friends. Since 2017 was the year of the Rooster, we brought the zodiac animal into prominence with the idea of 金鸡报春 – the Golden Cockerel Heralding in the Spring. 

Spring blooms in Millenia Walk when the Golden Cockerel calls, as his family gather to celebrate the beginning of the Lunar Year in all of its festivities.
Beyond a festive centerpiece, the lantern structure contains a dioramic adventure of the Golden Cockerel for the Millenia Walk visitors and their families to discover and delight in.

Angbao Design
The custom illustrations created for the campaign were layered to spotlight the Golden Cockerel and his family. Accentuated with specific foil accents, the Millenia Walk angbao set was modern, festive, and unlike any other angbao design on the market that year.
