The project we were assigned in our class was to develop a series of PSA posters. We could pick the content and the theme, whatever we wanted. I wanted to do a fun, light-hearted PSA.
When I was looking for inspiration, the posters that struck me the most were the parody ones- brilliantly clever content that catches you off guard, and then only after you get the joke.
The project started out with sketching, as always:
Then the sketches were made into digital versions. I developed some of my ideas further in this stage.
It was fun to come up with catchphrases and slogans!
The color sketches I thought were ok, but not the best I could do...
What to do but go back to the drawing board and come up with something stronger?
