Microwave popcorn packaging is notorious for busy graphics and a lack of simplicity.

I don't buy a box of Orville Redenbacher's popcorn for the design on the box, I buy it because of the name it has made for itself over the years and a well known quality the brand carries. However, its packaging has remained consistent for quite some time. For a new brand which no one has ever tried before, it's important for the packaging to be attractive and new in order to attract consumers.
For this packaging project, I kept it simple. People know its brand, that this is microwave popcorn, how many bags they're getting, and what flavor they are buying, and every other detail is arbitrary, and only important after the initial impression of the product is already made.
This product advertises itself to be 100% eco-friendly – with compostable microwave packaging and a recyclable and compostable box. The popcorn is also never made with anything you can't pronounce.

Enjoy!
