My city, Bangalore (India) has been flooding every year as of 2016. This is because there is nowhere for the rain water to seep into the soil, since there is concrete everywhere! Land has been cleared all around the city to make way for 'development'. Animals that used to be common sights outside the city are not extremely rare. 

This piece shows the plight of the elephants that used to roam this area, while the massive city of Bangalore is constructed in the background. You can see iconic buildings like UB City, the airport, etc behind the raging flood.
