The Vixen and the Thief
A current project exploring the characteristics of the fox in myth and literature. I've been illustrating my own modern interpretations of the stories, such as Aesop's Fables and Brother's Grimm.
Most examples here are screenprinted, however the some of the images here are digital. I like being able to produce digital images as a test before producing the final hand printed image, it's an excellent way to test colours and also see the work in a digital format, but I do think the images lack the hand printed matt quality that I love so much in screenprinted work.
I'm writing and illustrating my own story currently, more images to come on this soon!
