AR Application Prototype
Cedar is an augmented reality mobile application that aims to connect residents to arborists efficiently. It is meant to be used as a tool for arborists and residents alike.
The goal of the application is to limit the amount of time and money it would take for an arborist to come and give a resident a quote. Instead of having to physically come, Cedar allows residents to send direct reports to arborists. Arborists would have the information they need before their first visit—allowing them to prioritize and plan accordingly. Cedar was almost meant to be a fun way to get people more involved with their environmental surroundings and learn a little bit more about trees.
