This is another work for my Illustration class in college. I had to choose a children's book with bad illustrations and redesign it. The proposal was to improve only two pages from the inside of the book and the cover. I chose a book called Sweet Dreams, by Sue Porter, which was one of my favorites when I was a child. It was really challenging to make it better since the illustrations aren't bad - they are very beautiful, actually. I enjoyed a lot doing this piece and I learned plenty of new stuff along the way. This is not my usual style of painting but I think I'm gonna stick to it for a while from now on.
Esse é mais um trabalho pra minha aula de Ilustração na faculdade. Tive que escolher um livro infantil com ilustrações ruins e redesenhá-lo. A proposta era melhorar a diagramação e a illustração de duas páginas do livro e da capa. Escolhi um livro chamado Sweet Dreams (Lindos Sonhos na versão em português, que é a que eu tenho), de Sue Porter, que era um dos meus favoritos quando criança. Foi bastante desafiador melhorar esse livro, pois ele não é feio - é bem bonito, na verdade. Eu me diverti bastante fazendo esse trabalho e aprendi várias coisas novas no caminho. Esse não é meu estilo de pintura habitual mas acho que vou usar ele mais vezes a partir de agora.
