This book cover was created as a homage to the book Into The Wild, by author Jon Krakauer, which tells the story of Christopher McCandless; a young man who hiked solo across North America and up into the Alaskan wilderness in the early 1990's.
In order to create this cover image, I have combined photography and water-colour painting together using digital imaging software and finished it off with some imperfect typography.
