Designing and launching a toolkit to help care home staff address taboos.
My role
Project lead and service designer on entire product life-cycle from concept generation through to MVP development and launch.

> conducting ethnographic research in care homes with staff, management, residents and families
> facilitating an ideation workshop with Care Home staff + CQC + internal stakeholders
> designing and testing prototypes in 12 care homes across the UK via survey + product trial
> designing final product and assessing impact 
> identifying marketing and scaling opportunities​​​​​​​

Outcome
Lift the Lid on sex, intimacy and relationships is a workshop-in-a-box that challenges care home staff’s perceptions, offers a framework for respectful management of in-the-moment situations, and helps align on shared values and policies on this topic.
