"Wedding Stationary" 2019

These are the stationary designs I've made for my wedding. Everything was done with Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign 2018. I took off or modified the text.
I can't remember the main inspiration for the layered paper effect, but I knew that I wanted that particular design. I saw a few examples on Pinterest and had to get started with both the wedding logo and the feel for what I wanted the stationary to be. In a post I'm be creating soon, this design also ties in with how I create our Ketubah.

The main theme of the wedding (other than my fantasy theme) was how the two minds meet. Joshua is more logical and number oriented, while I'm the creative mind. When the left and right brains clash, you get this design. The tree represents the my right-sided mind, while the more angular roots on the left side represent Joshua. This is also reflected in the logo design. Our silhouettes show both the little tree sprout and his angular roots.

Joshua loved the design, but this also represent a family tree. My side was a literal illustration of a tree, while his side showed what you would associate with family trees, and the branching boxes. "To Our Adventure" was the motto and 'toast' for the two large families meeting.
These two are the information cards. There was also a reply card, but it was a simple white card stock.
The stand up paper shields were your name and table number cards. Making sure to throw whatever Legend of Zelda reference I could hide into the wedding. The paper locks were our version of the sign in book. I though it would look better to have another art piece to hang, than a frame with everyone's well wishes on them. This also freed up space for people to write on the paper locks and hand, instead of waiting single file in front of a sign in book.

These paper crafts were designed by me as well in Illustrator and the paper stock was cut using a Scan N Cut Brother paper cutter.
