Une courte phrase, simple, percutante, qui montre le type de personnalité que l’on a en face de soi.

C’est ce qu’Amélie m’a dit au cours d’une conservation concernant la force qu’elle réussit à tirer de ses périodes difficiles.

Quand je parle de périodes difficiles, je parle notamment de sa présence à Nice le soir des attentats du 14 juillet 2016. A cette période, elle était assistance sociale aux urgences du CHU de Nice où elle s’occupait du rapatriement des victimes étrangères. C'était une période difficile pour elle mais elle a su rebondir.

Avant notre rencontre, Amélie ne m’avait pas prévenu qu’elle allait me raconter cette histoire. Elle s’est livré naturellement et malgré cet évènement tragique, pendant notre rencontre, je sentais une grande détermination, elle regarde vers l’avenir, elle puise sa force dans les difficultés qu’elle a traversé pour avancer dans la vie.

Ca a été une rencontre marquante, inspirante et j’ai pris une leçon. Merci Amélie !

That's what Amélie told me during a conservation session about the strength she’s able to draw from her difficult times.

When I talk of difficult times, I am referring in particular to his presence in Nice on the evening of the attacks of 14 July 2016. At that time, she was a social worker at the emergency room of the Nice University Hospital where she was in charge of repatriating foreign victims. It was a difficult period for her but she managed to bounce back.

Before we met, Amélie hadn't told me she was going to tell me this story. She gave herself up naturally and despite this tragic event, during our meeting, I felt a great determination, she looks to the future, she draws her strength from the difficulties she has gone through to move forward in life.

It was an amazing, inspiring encounter and I learned a lesson. Thank you, Amélie!
