A college project from some time ago - we were told to create portraits in a variety of styles. One of them was 'geometric'. I was inspired by a series of beautifully designed geometric animal portraits, using only multicoloured triangles.
I decided to use triangles myself, only using circles for the pupils and reflection in the eyes. I wanted to capture the dimenson of the face, so rather than use several different colours, I used the same colour in different hues to resemble shadow and highlight.
