This logo was designed for the Barnum RNO (Registered Neighborhood Organization) in Denver. The non-profit community group has been operating since the 1970s under the name Concerned Citizens for Barnum. They recently updated their name to the more inclusive and positive moniker, Community Coalition for Barnum. I created this friendly and colorful design to reflect the change. The circus tent design is a nod to P.T. Barnum, who the neighborhood was named after and who briefly owned the land in the late 1800's. The tent also represents a sense of belonging, "covering" over everyone in the diverse community.
