My client loves to cook but his kitchen was dark and old.  He wanted an organized kitchen to hold all his pots, pans and tools as well as an area for a small office and a big counter for his friends and family to watch him cooking.

Our solution was to open up the wall that looks into the living room to build a larger countertop and bring more light.  We also added 42" tall cabinets, designed an office space with hidden drawers for a printer and cabinet file, added spice racks on both sides of the stove, and installed retractable pocket doors in some cabinets.

What made this dark wood kitchen sparkle was the modern brushed stainless steel hardware and the glass tile backsplash.
