''You Can't Travel Back in Time, Scientists Say...''

Project Name _ You Can't Travel Back in Time, Scientists Say...

Project Type _  Typography / Editorial / 2nd Year Project

Creator _         Lewis Webster

University _       Nottingham Trent University

Aim _                 Refresh and reinforce typographic knowledge and skills.
Develop a deeper understanding of the key components of typesetting.
Explore the fundamentals of designing for type and layout.
To demystify and simplify the process of working with type and image.

Fonts _              Monument Extended (Pangram Pangram) for headline typography.
Kefa (Jérémie Hornus) for the body copy.

Concept _          Using Typography and some illustration, I wanted to emphasise the
vastness of space whilst trying to create a visual journey through
space and time in relation to the article used. Using experimental
typographic techniques along with a monotone colour palette, I wanted
to evoke the feeling of what it might be like travelling through space and
time, trying to visually communicate to the viewer of what it might be
like travelling through a wormhole and how it may distort or bend time.
