Branding Guide for Hannah Dooley, Personal Fitness Expert and Trainer
Hannah Dooley is one of the best humans you could ever meet. Seriously. Her vision for her career is for women to feel loved, by others and by God, to feel confident, and to live with fitness in mind. Since she just began freelancing as a personal and group fitness trainer, she reached out to me to help her get her brand started.
We knew from the genesis that getting a logo down for Hannah was crucial. She needed her logo to be on her social media platforms, but she also needed business cards and few other materials as well.
So I created her base logo, and then a social media friendly format in a stacked version as well. I also created some solid recolored versions for her to use in her Canva designs; such as her recipe guides and Workout Wednesday posts. These all rotate around her color scheme as well.
Then it was time to focus on improving her Instagram; which is the main source of her clientele and her fitness updates. She regularly posts on her Instagram story and saves those stories in categorized highlights, so I created some matching icons for her to use as her highlight covers as well.
Here is Hannah's collected materials, kept in her style guide. This is for Hannah to reference as she self-creates and builds new content, on Canva and Instagram.
...and that's Hiit by Hannah! Thanks so much for reading about this project. Hannah and I hope you enjoy it as much as we do. Remember- live loved, live confident, live fit!
January 2021 Update
HIIT by Hannah Social Media Refresh & Project
So at the end of 2020, Hannah and I were able to meet together safely at a Panera bread and chat about what this year in business has meant for her and her clients. Personally, Hannah had entered into a new season of life- she's pregnant! And that changes her view of fitness, and helps her better reach and serve her client base.

Essentially, there were some holes showing up in her social templates. She needed some templates for food ideas, pregnancy education, and a new program she could send to her clients completely virtually.
First things came first- positive client review template that Hannah could share on her feed & encourage others.
Next, a visit to an important part of health: nutrition. So a new template made just for Hannah's pre & post workout snack ideas.
Stories were a part of Hannah's social media interaction that needed a little more interaction and relevancy. So we decided to make a fun "this or that" challenge as well.
Hannah loves sharing her life and updates on her instagram as well. But sometimes photos without frames just make your profile seem a little cluttered to the new eye. So I designed some fun (baby friendly!) life update frames for Hannah to use.
While her classic simple quote posts were great, they weren't getting very much interaction on her page and they needed a bit of a face lift. To keep growing with Hannah's vision, I created some clip art and new templates for Hannah to use for pregnancy education & encouragement. In addition, a new frame template with a "working out from home" vibe.
And last but not least for social updates, some fun recovery tip templates with her handle featured. Just something clean & modern looking to draw attention that a typical quote post might not (and embraces all of the brand's feature colors.)
4 Week Workout Program: Strength for Runners
After Covid-19 hit, it was a challenge for Hannah to learn how to provide user friendly training options to her clients that were isolated at home.

The idea for easily downloaded PDF workout programs, designed to fit the size of your phone or ipad, was born.

We created the Four Week Workout Program: Strength for Runners in canva, adding hyperlinks to each exercise that link to short Youtube clips of Hannah explaining the exercise.

Broken down by week, her clients get a zip file that includes 4 PDF files her clients can use anywhere working out is safe for them.
A new feature I've added for Hannah are GIF ads for her stories and page, with fun graphics.
It is my goal to continue to partner with Hannah to help grow the HIIT by Hannah social media presence and brand, and to remind her clients that they can do it!
