Hoşçakal Beyrut discuss the artist's life in Beirut and his feeling of belonging or not. As he's looking for other opportunities, The Artist is trying to get detached from the memories. Thus, He's no longer seeing the city as clear as It was, Either by forgetting some of the city's known figure or by missing some architectural details and finally by overlapping the landscape.

In each postcard, we have one of the principle elements missing (Date, Location,Stamps). Therefore, the idea of leaving is just an illusion as the artist is physically still living in Beirut but his soul and spirit left somewhere else.
