Yotoco Clutch. Inspired on a headdress frontal from Yotoco, Colombia. An elaborate ornament worn in 1st-‐7th Century. This ornament expressed the wealth and status of the wearer.  It’s design is a simple version of this ornament.  Under the supervision of the designer Vivian Perezmella at Fiori Colección, a leading manufacturer of leather goods in Dominican Republic, I personally designed and oversaw the assemblage of this clutch. The centerpiece of this clutch was made by Julian Rodríguez, a Dominican craftsman, in silver.
Drawing of the Yotoco Collection- created on a Fashion Design summer course given at Parsons in 2012.
The closure centerpiece was designed for this handbag, made in silver by a dominican craftsman.
