NOT YOUR GRANDPA'S CHAMBER

The Situation

What comes to mind when you think of your local Chamber of Commerce. Old suits? Patterned ties? Established businessmen and businesswomen making small talk over muffins – focused on maintaining the status quo? That may be the case at your father’s chamber, but the Raleigh Chamber isn’t that. They are vibrant. They are future-focused. They are non-traditional. BUT their brand? Not so much.

The Raleigh Chamber needed a rebrand that not only reshaped their perception across the Triangle but also attracted the young business leaders of today and tomorrow while still resonating with their long-held members and partners.

The Solution

The Raleigh Chamber believes people join their organization to join something larger than themselves - to partner with a future-focused catalyst who can help them build the Raleigh they envision with the support of the community. We created a brand focused on capturing the movement, activity, and excitement happening around the Raleigh business community today and in the future.

From the deconstructed nature of the logo to the focus on forward-moving arrows, we took a truly methodical approach to how the Raleigh Chamber brand will be visualized. Our design centers on the Raleigh Chamber’s abilities to adapt to the present and plan for the future. The font is big and bold. The colors are bright and impressive. The palette is large to accommodate all initiatives, and the photography features the real people and places that comprise the city.

This rebrand wasn’t about getting rid of the old, but rather embracing the new and being excited for what’s to come.
