The name Menuet combines two of the three elements from which the collection was inspired: 'Minuet', a form of the waltz, and the 'Menswear' from the era when the waltz was in fashion: the late 19th century. The collection was also inspired by sacred geometry; specifically, the sacred geometry of music in the 3:4 time signature and the visual representations of such music created by a harmonograph.
