SCAD ACADEMIC CALENDARS

A Series of three posters using three different techniques
Objective: Create three SCAD Calendars using the techniques of Inversion, Fusion, and Separation.

Insight: Separation: Type and image are kept as separate entities.
Inversion: The roles of type and image are reversed.
Fusion: Type appears as if it is integrated into the image.
Solution: A series of posters featuring the SCAD Academic Calendar and three important techniques. Separation is displayed as the type mimics the architectural lines of the building. Inversion is shown as the type finishes the lines of the camera lens. Fusion is displayed with the letters appearing as if they were sewn directly onto the fabric and were part of the original photo.

Separation: Type and image are kept as separate entities.
Inversion: The roles of the type and the camera lens image are reversed.
Fusion: The letters appear as if they were sewn onto the fabric and follows its curves.
