This was my first ever attempt of photobashing and digital painting. For this assignmnet we got a few guidelines for where the art-piece took place, when, mood, character type, setting and monster.

I made the Egyptian underworld wich is the complete opposite of the real Egypt. It is cold desolate and unforgiving. In the background there is a monster with rocks covered in ice as body-armor. It has the sharpest teeth of any predator it is powerful and masculine. The hunters who are protecting a little girl they found along the way, are preparing for a run to the city in the distance but need to get past the Anubis guardian.

Fun fact: The little girl is an easter-egg to another classmate's 3D work of Vila Pereira. The hunters are a nod to Assassins creed Origins my favorite game.
