Mahogany Bedroom set. Made from re-claimed wood from a bank office remodel. Most of the wood used here was used as trim for windows and door ways and base boards. The bed features a captain style design with 5 drawers located under the platform. The design appears to be 6 drawers but actually 1 drawer on each side is deep for blanket storage. Behind the head board is also storage for books, blankets or whatever you need. Below the shelf inside the headboard is where suitcases and luggage are stored instead on in a closet. This bed maximizes storage. On both sides are night stands with 2 drawers and a storage basket. Display shelves flank both sides for knick-knacks. The lighting on both sides and the center are individually controlled on dimmers for reading and lighting the display shelves. At the foot-board there are floor lights incorporated. The foot board also houses a 42" T.V. that raises and lowers with a touch of the remote. On either side of the television are shelves for dvd storage.
