What will Your Impact be?
Clarke University is a small Catholic University located in Dubuque, Iowa, and also one of the coolest clients I've ever worked with. The culture at Clarke is completely unique, and a product of the amazing people that live, work, teach, and learn there. The professors and administrators all go by first name, the lunch ladies will make your mom's recipe if you bring it to them. It's an uncommon place, and it attracts a distinctive type of student... students who travel their own path, smart students who are there to learn first, but also, to have fun their way.
The goal of the Clarke Culture book was to capture this vibrant "Smart-Fun" culture in a brochure, and share it with potential students. We accomplished this by telling the stories of 10 Clarke Students, and we did so in a big way. The Culture book opens up to a full spread of 22" x 17." And folds down to a 8.5"x11" business document size.
Easily one of the most enjoyable projects I've worked on to date. Rob Lombardi wrote all of the copy and entertained the students while Dan McClanahan shot the photography - two dudes who themselves personify Smart-Fun.
