Here is the progress of a normal project for our companies custom vinyl graphics department: Less than 48 hours to turn it around (design, print, laminate and install), little or confusing input from the customer, high cool factor needed, no budget. Hitting the cool factor under budget and in time constraints is important to allot of businesses, but for the small business that we worship and protect, it's just plain critical.

 

Generic (yet hi dollar) plastic for a racing ATV. One of my customer's kid races, so we 'sticker it up' with the company logo so he can write it off. His wish list includes, "blue, our logo, skulls and the ID #298 Gunneman".... Here is the initial template. I'll be back when I've got the rough draft ready.

I made an inconsistent textured background (which is good for odd shaped wraps because it can help hide stretches) in several shades of blue (hoping he likes at least one of them). I also borrowed a skull brush set from Synthexstock on Deviant Art, for a quick skull texture. Skulls are not my favorite choice but it is an ongoing theme for this gym and it's all about targeting the market. This is an MMA gym. Here is the placement of logos, etc. for customer approval.

Here is a closeup of the front fender with the most important thing for a race bike, the ID #, being prominent.
