This project was part of my Drawing and Imaging course within Parsons School of Design in my freshman year. It represents an alternative take on the layout and buildings of Times Square where they are re-imagined as an entirely different world/entity. My take here is of Times Square under the microscope as a micro bacterial world. Initially I began the project by walking around Times Square and observing the buildings there. I then sketched up the layout of the buildings but in my alternate dimension version and then used Illustrator and Photoshop to color it in and also incorporate the elements that are within the final version.
