In the spirit of celebrating Women's Day in South Africa, I thought it would be interesting to participate in the conversation as a creative...

On the 07.08.19 we invited and hosted women from different cultures (beliefs and values), backgrounds, races and religions to come and share their stories of what it means to be women in their own spaces.

What does it mean to be a mother, a sister, a professional, a wife and maybe all of these roles?

Growing up in a rural village meant I had a singular perspectives of what a women "should" look like, should say & should wear, so anything outside of this perspective was a culture shock to me.

Part of my growth as a male and a creative meant I had to understand and embrace the different colors of women identity:
a woman can be whomever, become whatever they desire and no one knows your identity.

W(H)OMEN? gives a platform to women from diverse groups to share their own experiences.
