Art From What Remains is a photographic series about finding the beauty and universal connection that is inherent in death. Death is experienced cross culturally. As the heartbeat fades, and skin decays, we are left with bones. The bones, sculptural and grey, resting in gravely ash embodies death’s universality. Yet, from this, memories and ghosts rise from the bones, marking a profound singularity of individual experience.
