To quote the words of the Director, Ms Steinberg, «it is about feminism and a woman as she discoveres who she is and finds a deep emotional wound with her mother… but her mother is mentally ill and slipping through the cracks of the mental healthcare system and may end up on the streets and she has to decided if she is going to abandon her or take care of her…»
My contribution — the audio clip which has been excluded from the final version, as it was considered a bit «too soft» — came out after I have noticed a precise and defined rhythm throughout the already edited scene, especially the voice-over parts, which flow perfectly at tempo 104 BPM. That is a coincidence which the Director has reported to be unintentional.
